October Washington rally postponed
Our "Rally to Free Lori Berenson" that was scheduled for Sunday afternoon October 10th in Washington DC has been postponed. We are in the process of choosing a National Organizer to be located in Washington and we had hoped that the National Organizer would be in place in time to insure a successful rally. Unfortunately this is not the case and it is impossible to have such a large scale event with multiple speakers and followed by daily vigils without a coordinator to devote full time to its organization.
We want to thank the many supporters from around the country who expressed interest in attending this rally and we will keep you informed about rescheduling in a future update.
New location for September 23rd New Jersey talk
On Thursday, September 23rd, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. we will be discussing "The Lori Berenson Case" at the Quaker Meeting House which is located at Park Street and Gordonhurst Street, in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.

Union Square Park performance draws over 200 people
Over 200 people watched the September 8th performance in Union Square Park (NYC) of "What You Do: The Story of Lori Berenson." The performance by Great Small Works (a NYC-based theater collective) was a recreation of the program developed and shown last summer by the Bread and Puppet Theater in Vermont. It included a 20-foot puppet of Lori who represents "the truth."
