Lori completes 7th year of wrongful imprisonment

Today marked the seventh anniversary of Lori's arrest on a bus in downtown Lima. She has now spent 2,557 days wrongfully incarcerated and our struggle for her freedom from this injustice continues.

Mark prepares for end-of-year visit to Lori

Mark will be visiting Lori next weekend and bringing down loads of letters and cards. Should you wish to send a note (at the moment prison officials allow letters in English), please e-mail it to us at berenson@freelori.org by Wednesday, December 4. We will print it and it will be brought to Lori next weekend.

A Thanksgiving message

Lori joins us in expressing our gratitude for all your support, help, and encouragement that has continued to sustain us over these years. Despite our disappointments and our frustrations we have much to be thankful for. And we extend to you our warmest wishes for this holiday -- may this usher in a season of hope, not dispair; love, not hate; understanding and brotherhood, not ignorance and xenophobia; and most of all -- peace, not war.
