Thanks to webmaster Ken Dubberly, the web site for the Free Lori Berenson Committee has a new look. The home page offers dialogue boxes containing Upcoming Events and Important News in Perú.
The home page also highlights the latest information on Lori's situation and offers a variety of important dialogue boxes that enable a complete study of her case with several new or newly revised links. It will now be easy to download and/or change sample letters to government officials and send letters in Spanish to Lori.
Upcoming events
Rhoda and Mark Berenson will appear, live, on the program "Pure Oxygen" on the newly created Oxygen television network, Tuesday, March 28, from 9 to 9:15 a.m. (Pacific time). The program is repeated Tuesday evening from 5 to 5:15 p.m. and Wednesday morning, March 29, from 5 to 5:15 a.m. (Pacific time).
Mark Berenson will appear, live, on the radio program "Dialogue," Sunday, 11 a.m. to 12 noon (Eastern Daylight time), on WFDU (89.1 FM), from Teaneck, NJ. The program can be heard over the internet by accessing the station at www.wfdu.fm and following the instructions.
Rhoda and Mark Berenson will be speaking at both Tufts University in Medford, MA and at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA on Monday afternoon, April 10 and then at MIT, in Cambridge, MA that evening. The itinerary is still incomplete. The talk at Harvard will be held at the Harvard Law School and hosted by Dr. Otto Solbrig, Senior Acting Director of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin-American Studies. It will be cosponsored by the Human Rights Program of the Harvard Law School and the Carr Center for Human Rights at the Kennedy School of Government. More information will follow.
